Picacho del Diablo

This is my desktop background nowadays.  It looks really nice on the new computer. Definitely worth the drive down into Mexico to be up at the Observatory, looking out onto the state's highest peak. We saw three California Condors up there, near the research dormitories. They were obviously used to having people around, gawking at them. Two of them perched up on top of the "red house" and then up in a tall tree near the maintenance yard. Nothing compares to a huge bird like a condor flying right overhead.
